EXM800 is an expansion module — zone and PGM expander — designed to expand the capacity of an alarm system when more inputs or outputs are required than the main panel provides.

Main Features:

• The module has 8 terminals, which can be freely configured as up to 8 wired inputs (zones) or as up to 7 PGM outputs + 1 zone
• Wired input zones: up to 8 (depending on how terminals are assigned)
• PGM (open-collector) outputs: up to 7 outputs (depending on terminal assignment) plus 1 zone
• Supported detector loop types: NC, NO, NC/EOL, NO/EOL, NC/DEOL, NO/DEOL — allows connecting various wired detectors
• Communication with the control panel via KRBUS bus protocol
• Maximum cable distance between module and main panel: up to 300 meters — allows flexible placement away from the panel
• Power supply: 9–14 V DC
• Current draw: 15 mA
• Maximum current per PGM output: 0.075 A; total PGM output current up to 0.5 A
• Module dimensions: 67 × 50 mm
• Operating temperature: –10 °C to +50 °C — suitable for indoor use
• Complies with RoHS environmental standard
• Includes onboard voltage measurement — for monitoring supply line voltage stability

Notes:

• Use EXM800 when you need extra zones or outputs beyond what the main control panel offers — suitable for larger installations.
• Decide how many terminals to assign to inputs vs outputs based on actual needs for detectors and outputs.
• Take into account that the module can be placed up to 300 m away from the main panel — useful for installations spread over large buildings or multiple rooms.
