Small description: The GBD-PLUS is a compact glass-break and/or shock detector designed for ceiling or wall mounting. Using dual-frequency detection (shock + glass break), it is engineered for minimal false alarms and provides volume protection of glazed areas.
Main features
- Detection method: electro-condenser microphone analyzing two sequential signals: a shock impact and subsequent glass break.
- Shock and/or glass selectable: jumper setting allows selection of shock only, glass break only, or both.
- Volume protection: does not require mounting on each individual window; one unit may cover multiple glazed panels.
- Sensitivity adjustment: separate potentiometers for shock and glass, plus sensitivity-reduction jumper (50 % mode).
- Memory LED: keeps red LED lit after alarm until reset, enabling identification of triggered detector.
- Mounting options: ceiling or wall.
Compatibility
- Supply voltage: 9–16 V DC.
- Alarm output: N.C. relay output 50 mA / 24 V DC with in-line resistor (apie 10 Ohm).
- Tamper switch: N.C. 50 mA / 24 V DC (10 Ohm series).
Notes
- Detection range: up to ~10 m (33 ft) for glass break/shock.
- Warm-up period: ~60 s (±5 s) after power up.
- Alarm period: ~2 s (±0.5 s).
- Current consumption: Standby ~22 mA; Active ~25 mA (at 12 V).
- Operating temperature: -20 °C to +50 °C.
- Dimensions: ~78×51×21 mm.
- RFI/EMI immunity: 30 V/m (10–1000 MHz); 50 000 V from lightning/surges.
