  • Global Fire Equipment IO ISO Addressable Input/Output Module

Fully-monitored addressable I/O interface module that allows third-party equipment to be connected to a fire alarm control panel via normally-open dry contacts, while providing a changeover output relay to control ancillary systems.

    Main Features:

    • Loop powered: 17 V to 30 V DC
    • Quiescent loop current: approx. 0.46 mA
    • Fault condition loop current: approx. 0.79 mA
    • Alarm loop current (LED illuminated): approx. 2.0 mA + 9.8 mA (with relay active)
    • Relay output contact rating: 2 A @ 30 V DC (resistive) or 0.5 A @ 125 V DC
    • Cable size for loop connection: up to 2.5 mm² conductors
    • Ingress protection: IP43 (indoor use)
    • Operating temperature: ?10 °C to +50 °C; Humidity up to 95% RH non-condensing
    • Housing: ABS plastic, colour options White or Red; Flame-retardant rating UL94 V-0
    • Dimensions: approx. Ø 100 mm × 48 mm (height); Weight: ~29 g (module only) / ~134 g (module + box)
    • Monitoring of input contact for open-circuit or short-circuit fault conditions and alarm activation
    • Onboard LEDs: Green = polling status; Yellow = output relay active; Red = alarm condition at input

    Notes:

    • Module address selectable via 8-way DIP switch (addresses 1-125).
    • Relay output is powered from the loop — no external 24 V supply required for standard operation.
    • Installation considerations: ensure loop polarity and wiring meet system specification; include module’s quiescent and potential alarm currents in loop load calculations.
    • One module can interface equipment such as sprinkler flow switches, extinguishant level monitors or door-release devices to the fire alarm system.
    • Professional installation is recommended to ensure compliance with EN54 system standards and proper integration with the fire panel.
