Global Fire Equipment MAM Detector Interface Module

Compact manually-addressed module from the MAM series, designed to enable integration of conventional detectors into an addressable fire alarm loop system.

Main Features:

• Loop supply voltage: 17 V to 30 V DC
• Quiescent loop current: approx. 1.1 mA
• Alarm loop current: approx. 12 mA
• Address range: 1-125 for detectors/MCP/I/O devices; 94-125 reserved for sounder/beacon devices
• Compact dimensions: 48 mm × 24 mm × 9 mm
• Latching 8-way DIP switch for manual address setting and configuration of device type (detector, MCP, input, output, etc.)
• Supports white-indicator version (for detector module applications) along with coloured housings for other module types

Notes:

• Ensure the connected conventional detector is compatible with the module’s interface specifications.
• Include the module’s quiescent and alarm current in loop load calculations to avoid overload.
• Connect “IN” and “OUT” loop terminals correctly and maintain proper polarity as specified in the installation manual.
• For reliable system integration and compliance with applicable fire-detection standards, professional installation is recommended.
