GFE ZMU
Code: 1823-
Global Fire Equipment QUAD-ZMU Addressable Quad Zone Monitoring Unit
A fully monitored addressable module allowing connection of up to four individually addressed conventional detection zones into the addressable loop of a GFE fire alarm control system.
Main Features:
- Loop supply voltage: 20 V to 30 V DC; loop current approx. 1.6 mA
- Requires external 24 V DC power supply for conventional zones; zone output and loop are optically isolated
- Supports active end-of-line (EOL) monitoring, enabling detector removal supervision
- Monitors open-circuit, short-circuit and fire conditions on each connected conventional zone
- LED indication for each zone: red = fire, yellow = fault, green = 24 V supply present
- Zone programming supports up to four zones (models labelled 1Z, 2Z, 3Z, 4Z)
- Maximum cable size up to 2.5 mm²; operating temperature –10 °C to +50 °C; up to 95% RH non-condensing
- Dimensions: 150 × 90 × 32 mm; Weight approx. 220 g
- Complies with EN54-18 for interface modules
Notes:
- The module occupies multiple consecutive loop addresses depending on the number of zones configured.
- Ensure correct selection of EOL type (active vs resistive) and correct wiring of each conventional zone.
- The external 24 V supply for the conventional zone devices must be adequate for the connected devices and supervision circuitry.
- Professional installation is recommended to ensure compliance with system design, wiring integrity and relevant standards.
