Small description: The SWAN PGB is a wired detector combining quad-element PIR motion sensing together with glass-break and shock detection functions. It supports pet immunity up to 25 kg and is designed for volumetric protection of glazed areas and intrusion zones.
Main features
- Detection method: Quad (four-element) PIR sensor & electret microphone for shock and glass break detection.
- Dual outputs: Two independent relay outputs for GLASS/SHOCK alarm signals and PIR alarm signals.
- Pet immunity: Up to 25 kg (pets below ~1 m height inactive).
- Sensitivity adjustments: Separate adjustments for PIR sensitivity, glass break sensitivity, shock sensitivity.
- Temperature compensation: Automatic for stable operation across environment changes.
- Volume protection: Glass-break detection covers multiple windows via sound analysis — no need to mount on each individual window.
- Installation height free: Works installed at 1.8-2.4 m without height calibration.
Compatibility
- Supply voltage: 8.2–16 VDC.
- Alarm output: N.C. 28 VDC 0.1 A with series protection resistor.
- Tamper switch: N.C. 28 VDC 0.1 A (opens when cover is removed).
Notes
- Detection range: Glass break up to ~10 m (90°); PIR up to ~15 m (wide-angle lens).
- Warm-up time: ~60 s after power-up.
- Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C (or -20°C to +50°C depending on version).
- Dimensions / Weight: ~123×62×38 mm; ~110 g.
- Alarm period: ~2 s ±0.5 s.
- Current consumption (standby): ~16.5 mA. Alarm PIR ~16.5 mA; Alarm Shock & Glass ~22 mA.
